Built to Order
iKey’s industrial rugged keyboards are built to order, and can be expedited or customized according to special requests. Once built, they are put through a rigorous series of quality control tests, receiving hand-tested approval at three separate stations before shipment.

Military and industrial customers especially need the keyboard to be backlit a certain way or the keys need to be a specific size. Standard keyboards with quantity of 50 or less usually ship in seven (7) business days or less. Often times in large projects, the keyboard is the last item that is planned for. We can help customers complete their projects and ship the rugged keyboard they need, quickly. iKey can ship direct.

Quality Assurance
Rigorous testing procedures are an absolute necessity when manufacturing rugged computer peripherals. All of iKey’s products are tested to stringent standards that ensure our customers receive the best quality possible. From keypads to pointing devices, our products are built to withstand consistent use in the harshest conditions. Before new production begins, all keypad designs are tested on a silicone keypad endurance tester with an actuation force plotter to ensure the parts meet desired specifications.

A perfect example of our rugged capabilities: The iKey IK-KV-PDRC-12.1 rugged display is custom-made specifically for use with the Panasonic Toughbook. Ideal for police cars and any fleet vehicle, the Panasonic Toughbook clicks into place and the user sees a bigger, daylight-readable, 12.1″ flat panel display with touchscreen. Users can use the Toughbook outside of the vehicle and easily snap it into place into the larger mounted 12.1″ display from iKey. Newer flat panel displays include: 12.1″, 13.3″ and a new 11.6″ flat panel display. iKey has in-vehicle solutions no matter which computer you choose.
